Russian-French seminar on financial problems started working in Ufa
The Russian-French seminar on financial problems started working in Ufa. Leading specialists in sphere of finances from Russia and France are discussing the totals of social-economic development of Russia in 2010, problems and prospects of the world currency-financial market and actual problems of Russian economics.
Thus, the work meeting of the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB – the head of the Governmental Machinery RB Ilshat Tajitdinov with the director of the Institute of national economy forecasting, Academician Viktor Ivanter and with the head of the Center for investigation of the models of economic development (CEMI), a member of the board of directors of the Higher Research School for social sciences investigation (EHESS) Jack Sapir has taken place on January 18 in the House of the Government RB.
As M-r Ivanter mentioned, the aim of such seminars, held still in the Soviet times, is the analysis of economic processes in the regions in order to choose the correct model of economical development, taking the opinion of the French scientists into account.
“Our seminar is not Moscow-Paris but Russian-French” – Viktor Ivanter said – “We have to know the moods especially in the regions and especially in Bashkortostan with its high economic potential”.
“We in France investigate Russian experience with deep interest” – Jack Sapir reported – “As we think, federative Russia has more opportunities for development of its territories unlike unitary France”.
Such seminars are held by turn in two countries. Four seminars have already taken place in 2010 – in Maikop, Vologda, Lion and Grenoble. Ufa takes the baton in 2011. After that the seminar will be held in Toulouse.
