The Patriarch of Moscow and Russia Cyril intends to pay a visit to Ufa. This news has spread all over the federal mass-media the day before. The Administration of the President RB confirms this information but specifies it is too early to talk about any exact dates of his arrival.
“We have the preliminary agreement about the visit” – the press-secretary of the Presidential Administration Artem Valiev said – “But we haven’t yet negotiated its exact terms”.
The Patriarch of Moscow and Russia Cyril goes over the regions of Russia quite often and in 2010 he has already visited Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, so his visit to Bashkiria is quite predictable, moreover the history of the Patriarch’s family is concerned with the Republic – his grandfather Basil Gundyaev had served as a priest in Bashkiria and Ural zone at the beginning of the XX century.
