For the ninth time Moscow has given a cordially welcome to the national masters fr om more than 60 Russian regions at the arts and crafts exhibition-fair “Boat-2010”, held in the EXPOCENTER.
Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Nizhniy Novgorod, Ryazan and other regions have presented the whole streets with the collective stands, wh ere the unique hand-made was demonstrated.
The exposition of the Bashkir arts and crafts enterprises has become one of the most interesting nooks at the fair. Thus, the state unitary enterprise “Agidel” has reconstructed the historical image of the everyday life of the Bashkir nation, locating their exhibits inside the traditional Bashkir jurt. The wares, combining the beauty, functionality and the unique coloring of the national folklore, attracted the attention of the Muscovites. Thus, the kits for horse milk and honey, small boxes, decorative panels and numerous souvenirs caused real admiration of the visitors. Fashionable, light and original clothes in the “batik” style, decorative bed-clothes and table-linen were very popular among women.
The exhibition-fair “Boat-2010”, uniting the best masters, carefully keeping the traditions of the unique national arts and crafts, has become a noticeable event in the cultural life of Moscow and the whole of Russia.
