The delegation of the Committee on UNESCO Affairs RB has left the Baltic States for taking part in the international action “Baltic dialogue-following the tracks of Salavat Ulaev” on Monday, December 13.
The staff of the delegation includes representatives of the Committee on UNESCO Affairs RB, the World Bashkir Kurultay executive committee, pedagogues and intellectuals.
Several official meetings with the representatives of UNESCO national commissions, with the leadership of the town of Paldiski and with the natives of Bashkiria, living here are scheduled in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Besides, the delegation will visit the places, concerned with the name of Salavat Ulaev.
The discussions of cooperation in sphere of culture, science, education, youth exchanges and tourism as well as in sphere of protection of the local cultural and natural heritage are scheduled within the frames of these negotiations.
The photo-exhibitions about Bashkortostan and the national Bashkir concerts will be organized in all three Baltic States.
The project is realized with the assistance of the Russian Federation’s Commission on UNESCO Affairs and the Baltic national commissions on UNESCO Affairs.
