The artists of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan will play the joint show, devoted to the memory of Farida Kudasheva. The show will take place on the stage of the Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet on December 16.
The national artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, honorable artist of Russia Farida Kudasheva has died in Ufa on October 9, 2010. She was 90.
Farida Kudasheva was a bright representative of the Bashkir pop music. Having the unique voice and very emotional and heartfelt manner of performance, Farida Kudasheva was extremely popular and loved by thousands listeners. She has become a really national singer. Her wide repertoire included hundreds of Bashkir and Tatar pop and folk songs and long-term creative activity has deserved great recognition in the Republic and far beyond.
Farida Kudasheva was born on December 15, 1920, in the village KLYASHEVO. In 1939 she has finished the theatrical department of the Ufa’s Art College. In 1939-1941 she was working at the Durtuli State National Theater and in 1944-1947 – at the Bashkir Dramatic Theater. Within the period between 1947 and 1956 she was a soloist of the Bashkir Radio Committee and since 1956 – a soloist of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society.
