Ufa pretends to participation in the Robert Bosh Fund program
Ufa is considered as one of the candidates for participation in the Robert Bosh Fund program “Managers in sphere of culture” in Russian Federation.
The program is initiated by the Fund by Robert Bosh and by the German cultural center by Goethe. The aim of the program is widening of the regional network, representing the German external policy in sphere of culture in Russia, assistance to international contacts of Russian representatives of culture and training of scholars for the role of managers in sphere of international cultural exchange.
If Ufa happens to become a participant of the program, a scholar from Germany will work on probation in our city beginning from September 2011. The organization of Russian-German projects in sphere of culture with participation of local municipalities and creative collectives will be within the sphere of his competence. Arkhangelsk, Chelyabinsk and Ulyanovsk already take part in this program since 2009 and Irkutsk and Kazan are considered the candidates to participation in the program together with Ufa.
Besides, the initiation of the multi-step refresher courses “Management in sphere of culture” is planned in Ufa also within the frames of this program. Experts from Germany will hold the seminars twice a year.
For the reference: The Fund by Robert Bosh is considered one of the biggest corporate funds in Germany, established in 1964. The Fund continues the strivings of its founder Robert Bosh (1861-1942) for publicly useful activity. The fund is working first of all in sphere of understanding between people, education and health and is also engaged in problems of culture.
The German cultural center by Goethe represents the culture of Germany in the world, contributing to study of German language abroad, developing international cultural cooperation, representing the all-sided image of Germany and informing the world about cultural, public and political life of the country.
The German cultural center by Goethe executes the main aims of German foreign policy in sphere of culture and education, working through its own network of German lingual centers by Goethe, societies of cultures, reading halls, examination and linguistics centers.
