The Russian aircraft “SUKHOI SUPERJET-100 (SSJ-100) has for the first time landed in Ufa airport during its technical flight Ramenskoe-Ufa.
New two-engine turbojet aircraft has presumable life at 70000 flight hours with the average world characteristics equal to 30000 hours thanks to the outstanding engineering solutions and the use of the materials with higher durability. SSJ-100/75 represents the variant, meant for transportation of 78 passengers for a distance 2900-4550 kilometers and SSJ-100/95 – for 98 passengers for a distance 2950-4420 kilometers and the market niche for this middle-range aircraft is chosen quite well – the regional flights (mainly for a distance up to 3000 kilometers) with rather small number of passengers. For the last five-six years this segment of the market experiences through the most rapid progress both in the countries of the former USSR as well as in the whole world. The new aircrafts are called to replace the morally and physically obsolete airliners AN-24, TU-134 and TU-154, which are gradually taken out of service now.
