The interregional scientific-practical conference “Regional problems in development and perfection of land and property relations” started working in Ufa. The deputy Plenipotentiary of the President RF in Volga federal district Alexei Kubrin, the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, the Head of the Government’s Machinery RB, the Minister of land and property relations RB Ulay Ilyasov, representatives of the Ministry of economic development RF, the Federal State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Service, state and public organizations from Bashkiria and other regions are taking part in its work.

On behalf of the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota Alexei Kubrin welcomed the participants of the conference.

“The land problem is considered one of the most important for economic development of the country” – he said – “In the whole world the efficient regulation of land and property relations is considered one of the main grounds for attraction of additional investments but this problem was never paid proper attention to in Russia. Now we are found at the stage of formation of a new mentality. Thus, only 20% of lands in Volga federal district have definite borders and properly registered property relations and the rest of the lands are practically ownerless. We have to find the interaction between the state and natural persons and I do hope the conference will be able to offer us plenty of promising proposals on development of land and property relations, which can be laid in the base of the normative-legal acts at the federal level”.
