Rustem Khamitov: Salavat should be a progressive and comfortable town

During today’s work trip to Salavat he President of Bashkiria has held a meeting with the local activists and representatives of the deputy corps in Salavat administration.

In the course of the meeting the President RB mentioned the Republic recently demonstrated poor progress by quality of life.

“We have to find the way out of this situation” – Rustem Khamitov underscored – “We must have good budget and good wages, we have to increase our production and we already started working in this direction. We also have to struggle for every workplace and it has principal importance for us”.

The President has reminded that by the level of wages Bashkiria is found on the 40th place in Russia.

“The wages of budget sphere employees and workers are too low but we’re searching for the solutions” – the President RB stated – “For example, the employees of budget sphere will receive the 13th wage in 2010”.

Besides, Rustem Khamitov has mentioned the situation with housing in the region remains rather difficult too. He called the project “My House” unsuccessful but promised the program would be carried to the conclusion because destinies of too many people depended on it.

Talking about the town of Salavat Rustem Khamitov has admitted that for the last time he came here in 2002.

“Not much is changed in the town for this period of time” – he said – “But such enterprises as “SALAVATNEFTEORGSINTEZ” and “SALAVATSTEKLO”, regularly modernizing their productions, make me happy. Salavat should be a progressive and comfortable town and I’m sure both the Republic and the town of Salavat will demonstrate real progress very soon”.
