Priorities in development of Bashkir trans-Ural are determined
A field work meeting of the workgroup, responsible for making a middle-term development plan for the Bashkir trans-Ural zone, has taken place in Sibay under the chairmanship of the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Ilshat Tajitdinov. The meeting was held with participation of the Republican ministries and departments, federal territorial structures, local self-government bodies, business people and mass-media.
“Such project – the plan for development of the economical sub-region – will be launched in the Republic for the first time” – Ilshat Tajitdinov said – “If it appears successful, this experience is planned to be spread on other depressive regions of the Republic, for example, on its north-eastern territories”.
In the course of the debates the principles and prior directions in development of Bashkir trans-Ural were determined. First, this is mining operations and production of building materials. The second priority is development of cattle-breeding, plant vegetation, bee-keeping, fish-farming and processing of agricultural output. The next direction is deep milling and further the plan presumes development of local machine-building, tourism, transport infrastructure and wild life conservation.
