author: news agency "Bashinform"

The last issue of the journal “The Expert” has published the interview of the President RB Rustem Khamitov, called “Positive calls for business”.

Formation of new elites is happening in Bashkiria now and it is concerned not just with the change of its President. The arrival of the federal holdings, which staffs include the biggest Republican enterprises is one of the key reasons, “The Expert” writes. How the President RB builds up the relations with these holdings? Answering this question Rustem Khamitov has said:

“The biggest holdings work in the Republic of late, such as AFK “System”, “GASPROM”, “SIBUR”, “Bashkir Chemistry” and UGMK. Their arrival is evident and quite clear tendency but at the same time the change of the regional leaders represents a new situation for them. I’ve met with the chiefs of all these holdings. We’ve negotiated efficient interaction. All chiefs of the big enterprises as well as their owners have confirmed their readiness to work with the new leadership on mutually beneficial terms and today we’re not just fixing the situation but think how to increase the business of these holdings on our territory” – Rustem Khamitov answers.

Thus, “AFK System” agrees to development its activity in IT-sphere and to open health and leisure centers on the territory of Bashkiria. “SIBUR” – one of JSC “POLYEF” co-owners, is going to open a business-incubator and a techno-park at the same time, where the manufacturing of ready-made products from the output of large-capacity chemistry is to be mastered. UGMK continues construction of new mines and its investments exceed several billion rubles.

“All federal holdings solve plenty of social problems in the Republic, such as construction of the sports centers, health care objects and social-cultural centers so our interrelations are built up on partnership positions” – the President of the Republic concludes.
