Ufa’s children are in poor health more often than their coevals in Bashkiria

The infant sickness rate among children of Ufa is by 4% more than in the Republic in a whole, the head of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights Dept in RB Nasima Kuchimova reported today.

Along with the higher risk to fall sick the children of Ufa suffer from spinal curvature much more often than the children from other Bashkir towns and regions. The results of the medical examinations, covering more than 177 thousand children, show that the share of the children with the abnormalities of bearing in Ufa exceeds the average Republican indices 1,5-3 times and at that this illness, which mainly the pupils suffer from as it is accustomed to consider, is quickly spreading among babies too now. For the last two years the number of the kids of pre-school age with the abnormalities of bearing has increased 3,5 times in Ufa.
