The program for distant teaching of children-invalids is successfully tested in Ufa
The Ufa’s goal-oriented program for distant teaching of children-invalids has proved its efficiency in the capital of Bashkortostan. Thanks to this project six children, which because of the disability, couldn’t study at an ordinary school, have finished the ninth grade, the head of Ufa administration education department Azamat Saifullin reported on Tuesday.
The program, meant for teaching of the disabled children with the use of distant education technologies, functions in Ufa since 2009 and the efforts of Ufa administration, the charitable foundation by Elmira Kharisova and representatives of business, Ufa’s schools and institutes were combined for its realization. The Ufa budget has allocated more than 15,5 million rubles for its financing.
20 children – the pupils of the ninth-eleventh grades with restricted physical abilities, were studying in the city during 2009 and 2010 with the help of internet – mainly the kids with heavy disorders of locomotorium and somatic diseases.
“Every participant of the project received special hardware and internet access at the expense of the municipal means” – Azamat Saifullin told – “And 40 experienced pedagogues have been attracted to teaching of the kids”.
The Ufa’s school N155 was chosen as the base for distant teaching of the children. They had passed the distant exams here and were taken in the tenth grade. In spring 2011 11 children with disabilities have to finish this school and all of them intend to enter the local institutes.
