The conference “Development of agrarian tourism” has taken place in Moscow within the frames of the Russian agricultural exhibition “Golden Autumn-2010”.The private auxiliary farmings, producing meat, milk and other agricultural products, are ready in parallel to develop arts and crafts and receive small tourist groups for lunches and overnight stops. The necessity of such social and business activity in the picturesque places, on the borders with the national reserves and near the monuments of nature and architecture looks especially acute.

On the stand of Bashkortostan the theme of rural tourism is presented still only in theory – as the description of one of eight innovational projects. This description presents various tours (by water, horse and pedestrian) in Burziansky and Beloretsky regions RB, the extreme excursions to the peak of Iremel and to the caves.

There are many similar projects, concerned with the brand directions in Bashkir economics in the Republic – bee-keeping, horse-breeding and currying, horse-milk business, mineral water bottling etc. The participants of the conference were just talking about these approaches, development of various national arts and crafts and national traditions. The positions of Bashkortostan in development of agrarian and ecological tourism are quite strong for today and have evident tendencies to development.
