The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov urged the journalist to avoid seeking after sensations and pay more attention to the analytical materials to the themes, worrying the society most of all.

“The journalist’s mastery to raise, analyze and cover the actual social problems was valued in all times” – he said during today’s meeting with the young journalists in the Congress-Hall – “In my time many editions have won high reputation and confidence thanks to good analytics”.

In opinion of Rustem Khamitov the majority of mass-media seeks after the “hot” facts. They are interested in what does a rock star eat for lunch, what is the color of the socks an official wear and is there the backstairs in the office of the President.

“You have to understand all this is a minor question and not the real journalism and you mustn’t focus your attention just on the sensations” – he said.
