The Plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in the Volga federal district Gregory Rapota urged the teachers to develop innovational thinking in their pupils.

“It is becoming quite evident that only innovational way of development can be promising for our country” – he said today during the meeting with the teachers at the Ufa gymnasium N3 – “But innovations don’t mean just funding of high-tech productions and science and it is of paramount importance to begin forming the innovational type of thinking in our population now, like it happens in Japan today”.

In opinion of Gregory Rapota the formation of innovational thinking should begin not at the institutes but already right out of school.

“Many people grasp this necessity now but another problem is how to make it a reality” – M-r Rapota said – “But one thing is quite clear – we have to inculcate the ideas about innovations in the pupils already when they are at the age when they just start thinking about economics and about prospects in development of their region as well as of Russia in a whole. Only in this case this generation will be able to provide the full-fledged development of their country”.
