The vegetable fairs start working in Ufa, the Ufa Mayor Paul Kachkaev reported today.
Vegetables and honey sales are allowed on the areas, allocated especially for the fairs, he said. For the last weekends 90 tons of potato has been sold out in the city.
As M-r Kachkaev said, the potato prices on the markets were within the limits of 18-20 rubles for one kilogram and in the nearest future they would possibly come down. Earlier the Ufa Mayor often paid attention of the public community that the stock-jobbing demand and long potato prices, observed during the whole summer, were provoked by the unprincipled journalists and within the period of the autumn fairs they would inevitably come down.
