The delegation of Bashkortostan is taking part in the interregional conference of “United Russia” regional subdivisions “The strategy of social-economic development in Volga region till 2020 – the Program for 2010-2020”. The first stage of the conference with participation of 250 delegates from 14 regions in the staff of the Volga federal district is held in Ulyanovsk today under the chairmanship of the chairman of the party’s Supreme Council Boris Gryzlov. The delegation of Bashkortostan consists of 20 people and headed by the secretary of “United Russia” regional division in Bashkortostan, the Chairman of the State Council-Kurultay-RB Constantine Tolkatchev. It also includes three deputies Prime-Minister of Government RB – Airat Gaskarov, Uri Pustovgarov and Fidus Yamaltdinov and the chairman of the Ufa Council Irek Nigmatullin.
Every region in the staff of the Volga federal district introduces their projects, aimed at development of the main spheres of economics. Presentations will be held at six conferences and the main subjects of these conferences are determined as the following: development of agriculture, state support of innovational enterprises and development of motor-car construction, modernization of transport infrastructure, available housing, science and higher education. The totals of the discussions will be summed up during the plenary session.
The second stage of the conference will take place in Nizhniy Novgorod on September 14 and it is expected the chairman of the party Vladimir Putin will join its work.
