The Ufa State Oil Technical University occupied the fourth position in the rate of the country’s technical institutes, composed on the base of the average mark on the unified state exam.

The Ufa State Oil Technical University with the average unified state exam mark 73,2 stands behind the Moscow Physical-Technological Institute (86,3), the Russian State University of Oil and Gas by I.M. Gubkin (77,6) and the National Research Nuclear University MIFI (75,0). The Ufa State Aviation Technical University is on the eighth position in this list with the average mark 68,3.

At the same time these indices haven’t allowed our universities to hold high positions in the overall rate of Russian educational institutions. Thus, UGNTU (Oil University) stands on the 32nd place an UGATU – on the 58th.

The Bashkir State University has rather good positions in the rate of the classical universities of the country – the 17th place with 66,1 marks. But it is found just on the 79th line in the overall rate.

The Bashkir universities failed to reach the Top25 among medical, pedagogical and humanitarian universities.

The rate on the unified state exam’s average mark includes 360 institutes, which received at least 200 school-leavers to the budget vacancies according to the results of the unified state exam. The rate is prepared by the Higher School of Economics and RIA “NOVOSTI” on the demand of the Russian Public Chamber. The rate shows the essence of an institute in the educational market and helps to form a new behavioral model, the authors of the investigation and experts believe.
