The city park of Ankara is called after Achmet-Zaki Validi
The official delegation RB has taken part in opening of the city park, named after Achmet-Zaki Validi, in the capital of Turkey Ankara yesterday.
The Minister of culture and tourism of Turkey, the TURKSOY General Secretary, representatives of the countries and republics in the staff of this international organization, state and public activists and citizens of Ankara have taken part in the ceremony. The son of the famous scientist Subiday Togan also took part in the ceremony.
The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Zugura Rakhmatullina heartily welcomed all comers on behalf of the President of Bashkortostan and its population. She said that kindly and friendly relations between Bashkir and Turkish nations existed for many centuries. This is also the merit of Achmet-Zaki Validi, who once stood near the springs of the first Bashkir autonomy and made great contribution to investigation of history and culture of the Turk nations.
“The opening of the park, named after him, will undoubtedly serve further consolidation of our relations” – Zugura Rakhmatullina underscored.
Same day the Masters of Arts RB have taken part in the festive show within the frames of the second international Ramazanovsky folklore festival. This music show with participation of the folklore bands from Azerbaijan, Senegal, Tunis, Egypt, the Arab Emirates, Sudan, Malaysia and many other Muslim countries will be lasting during the whole Holy Month of Ramadan.
