Netherlands are ready to help public reforms in Russian regions

The applications from Russian non-commercial organizations for participation in the contest of small grants “MATRA” of the Netherlands’ Embassy in Russia are accepted till October 1, 2010.

“MATRA” is the program of assistance to the public reforms in the countries of the Central and the Eastern Europe and also in the countries-the neighbors of the European Union, realized by the Netherlands’ Ministry of foreign affairs since 1994.

The name “MATRA” represents the combination of the first letter of two Dutch words – “maatschappeliijke transformatie” (public reform).The goal of the program is the support of the activity, aimed at development of open and democratic society, based on observance of the law and respect to the human rights.
