The US University is ready to finance the anti-corruption investigations in Russian regions.

The Terrorism, Transnational Crime and Corruption Center under the George Mason University announced a new contest of research works. Professors, candidates of science and pedagogues of higher education institutions, employees of the security services, Public Prosecutor Office and other state departments and agencies, journalists and employees of the non-governmental organizations and independent research centers may become the competitors for the Center’s grants. The investigations have to be devoted to the problems of struggle with organized and corruption criminality in Russia with further working-up of the recommendations on elaboration and introduction of the political and practical solutions.

The applications for participation are accepted till August 30, 2010, to the e-mail address: traccc@gmu.edu.

The results of the competition will be published after September 15, 2010.
