The Bashkir State University, the Bashkir State Pedagogical University by M. Akmullah, the Ufa State Aviation Technical University and the Ufa State Oil Technical University submitted the applications for participation in the open contest of the Russian Ministry of education and science on selection of the programs for development of the innovational infrastructure, including the support of small business undertakings and federal higher professional education institutions.
As the Ministry’s news-service reports, the rise of the quality of specialists’ training at the Russian institutes, development of the research and technological base of the institutes and the growth of their innovational activity are the main goal of the state backstopping.
199 educational institutions from 59 Russian regions from all federal districts have taken part in the contest. At that the largest number of the applications entered from the organizations of the Central federal district (32% of all applications) and the Volga and the Siberian federal districts (19 and 18% correspondingly).
It is expected the financing of the state support for development of the innovational infrastructure at the educational institutions will be realized either in the form of the additional budget appropriations in accordance with the estimates or as the subsidies for the term of from one to three years at the rate of up to 150 million rubles.
The summary amount of the demanded subsidies exceeds 24 billion rubles. The amount of the demanded subsidies varies within the range from 2,8 to 150 million rubles and the average amount of such subsidy is about 120 million rubles.
The contest selection of the programs for development of the innovational infrastructure is done on the base of the analysis of the scientific, educational and innovational potentials of the educational institutions for the last three years and of the programs for innovational development, introduced by these institutions. The budget appropriations for the term of up to three years with the volume of funding up to 50 million rubles per year are allocated for realization of the program for development of the innovational infrastructure.
The totals of the contest are planed to be summed up till August 23, 2010.
