The technical service center for the regional aviation aircrafts is opened in Yekaterinburg. The airport “Uktus” is chosen for the joint project of the Ural mining-metallurgical company and the Czech aircraft construction company “Aircraft Industries”.

On the first stage the center will serve the aircrafts L-410 UVP-E20 and Pilatus PC-12, produced by the Czech company. In the future the center will serve Czech helicopters too. The news-service of the Ural mining-metallurgical company reports 750 thousand euro has been spent for purchases of the necessary equipment and construction of the storehouse. The spare parts will be delivered for the companies, exploiting both the modern modification of L-410 and the older models. In the future the Ural mining-metallurgical company and “Aircraft Industries” intend to open the whole network of their service centers in Russia.

The aircraft L-410 was certified by the Inter-State Aviation Committee for its exploitation on the territory of Russia in summer 2009. At the aviation show “Max-2009” the company “Aircraft Industries” has signed several contracts for delivery of the aircrafts for the Russian air companies. Two aircrafts were delivered for Republic of Bashkortostan. At present time the aircrafts fly to Sibay, Yekaterinburg and Nizhniy Novgorod.
