Dmitry Medvedev presented the order “For the merits before the Fatherland” of the first degree to Murtaza Rakhimov

Solemn awarding ceremony has taken place in Moscow today. 47 Russian citizens – the activists of science, culture, art, medicine and sport and representatives of work specialties – received the state awards and diplomas from the President of the country, the Kremlin news-service reports.

The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev presented one of the highest state awards – the order “For the merits before the Fatherland” of the first degree to the former President of Republic of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov: “I am happy to see you in Kremlin and to congratulate you with the presentation of the high state award. The biography of any comer here is without exaggeration the history of success, private success and the example for the great number of other people. I’d like to call the name of Murtaza Gubaidullovitch Rakhimov first, who headed Republic of Bashkortostan for many years conscientiously and very professionally. Murtaza Gubaidullovitch receives one of our highest awards today – the order “For the merits before Fatherland” of the first degree” – said the President of Russian Federation.
