The team of 15 young trade-union activists fr om Republic of Bashkortostan is taking part in the all-Russian youth trade-union forum “Tchkalovsk-2010”, opened in the Moscow region and dated to the 20th anniversary of the Russian Independent Trade-Union Federation. The Bashkir team includes the representatives of JSC “BASHINFORMSVYAZ”, the company “GASPROM TRANSGAS Ufa”, JSC “GAS SERVICE”, economists, doctors, students of the Bashkir State Medical University, workers of the post and housing and communal services.

The Russian trade-unions consider Russian youth as the strategic resource today and develop the youth policy, aimed at the protection of youth’s social and economic interests and at attraction of the younger generation to the active trade-union activity but since not all trade-union organizations of the country work with the young people systematically and purposefully, it weakens the inflow of new members and makes the process of the trade-union active staff rejuvenation more complicated, so the Russian Independent Trade-Union Federation reached the decision to hold such forums especially for the young people, wh ere the youth from different Russian regions may study on equal footing in order to activate the trade-union work in the regions later.
