Constantine Tolkatchev has taken part in a meeting of the law-makers Council
The chairman of the State Council-Kurultay-RB Constantine Tolkatchev has taken part in the meeting of the law-makers Council in Moscow today, held under the chairmanship of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and devoted to struggle with corruption in Russian regions.
The members of the Russian Federation Council, headed by its chairman Sergey Mironov, and all heads of the regional legislative assemblies have taken part in this gathering.
According to the first reports of the central mass-media Dmitry Medvedev severely criticized the methods of the anti-corruption struggle because "the real number of corruption cases in Russia is dozens and hundreds times higher, than it is disclosed by our law-enforcement bodies”.
Talking about the methods of struggle with corruption, the President of Russia stated that these methods "often come to energetic writing of numerous papers and to holding of various discussions and round tables”. At the same time there is one positive tendency – the growth of the number of crimes, disclosed in the sphere of corruption.
According to the President of Russia the experts in Russia have revealed 36 thousand different legal and normative acts, containing the so-called corruption constituent, i.e. able to provoke to commissions of crimes. And though the majority of such acts cover the sphere of municipal administration, such acts can be met at the federal level too.
