In the first half of the year, the volume of mortgage lending in Russia grew for 60 percent in comparison with the comparable last year's indicator.
According to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the volume of mortgage portfolios of the Russian banks in the end of May exceeded trillion roubles.
Many credit organisations curtailed their mortgage programs during the peak of the crisis. Since autumn of 2009 the recovery is marked. The habitation market started to be stabilised.
As the "Bashinform" agency was informed in the press-service of the National Bank RB, in January-May in Bashkortostan borrowers were given out 1908 mortgage housing loans for the sum of 1,8 billion roubles. The total volume of loans increased for a year in 2,8 times, and the quantity of the given out credits – in 2,9 times.
As of the beginning of June the indebtedness under mortgage housing credits in the republic have made 19,1 billion roubles – it corresponds to the level of the last year. But the share of the overdue debt has grown: from 1,3 percent as of June 1, 2009 to 2,5 percent for the beginning of June, 2010.
In Bashkortostan the average interest rate under mortgage housing loans in roubles as of June 1, has made 13,6 percent. It is less than in the beginning of year, for 0,6 percent. The average term of crediting is 16 years.
