Kocatepe University prepares for the International conference devoted to Ahmet-Zeki Velidi Togan

The International Organization of Turkic culture TURKSOY and Kocatepe University located in the city of Afyonkarahisar (Turkey) prepare for "Zeki Velidi Togan and Turkic culture" International Conference, which is scheduled for October 13-15, 2010. The scientific forum will be held on the basis of the department of modern Turkic languages and literatures and the department of history of the University.

Kocatepe University plans to provide participants with accommodation and meals. The list of participants of honour includes the names of the leading Turkish scientists, such as Mustafa Isen, Osman Horat, Haluk Akyn, Isenbike Togan, Subidey Togan and others. The disciple of Ahmet-Zeki Velidi professor Tunger Baykara is in the organizing committee.
