Bashkortostan and the Leningrad region laid the groundwork for the future
Today on June 17, in St.-Petersburg, the XIV Petersburg International Economic Forum started its work. It unites the leading world politicians and businessmen who meet to define and discuss the key problems facing Russia, emerging markets and the world community and to involve necessary forces in search of common goals and finding variants of their decisions. Pavilions of the exposition centre "Lenexpo" become the main platform of the forum.
The delegation of Bashkortostan headed by Rail Sarbaev, the Prime minister of Government RB also takes part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In the context of visit to St.-Petersburg the agreement was signed between the Government of Bashkortostan Republic and the Government of the Leningrad region concerning trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. The document is concluded for five years and consists of 73 items. In particular, the Leningrad region plans to develop relations with Bashkortostan in the sphere of agriculture and mechanical engineering. In the near future it will purchase 60 comfortable buses "NefAZ".
