On the Day of Russia representatives of Georgian and Azerbaijani diasporas laid flowers on the Friendship Monument
The representatives of Georgian and Azerbaijani diasporas have laid flowers on the Friendship Monument in Ufa on the Day of Russia.
“The friendship of nations is not just something forced but the best variant for joint habitation of people on one territory, moreover when the real interests of all nations of Russia lie in the base of such friendship" — the chairman of the Georgian national-cultural center by Shota Rustaveli in Bashkortostan David Gureshidze told to "Bashinform" — "The Day of Russia is the main holiday of the country, personifying the unity of its nations. Per se this holiday makes the general national idea a reality. The variety of the nations, inhabiting Russia, is its main wealth and greatness. The Day of Russia has become the most important factor of patriotic education, wide demonstration of national cultures, which mutually enrich us, making everybody spiritually richer”.
