Opening of the kindergarten N50 in Ufa has become a good gift by the International Children Protection Day for the young citizens of Ufa. The President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov has shared this joy with the employees of the kindergarten, parents and children on Tuesday, June 1. The building of this kindergarten was erected in 1957 and long ago ceased to correspond either sanitary or pedagogical requirements. Because of growing demand in the pre-school institutions the Ufa administration decided to reconstruct it in April 2007.

The area of the kindergarten, meant for 180 seats, makes up nearly three thousand square meters. The project anticipates eight groups for children, aged between 2 and 8, and two groups of short-term residence, where kids may spend about three hours a day. The kindergarten is ready to meet the first kids already in July this year.

Cozy and spacious rooms, new furniture, inventory and toys, musical and sport halls, the medical block and the canteen – everything is thought through the smallest details. Since this is a pre-school object, the builders used new non-toxic materials. The reconstruction of the kindergarten cost more than 80 million rubles for the Republican budget.

Welcoming the participants of this remarkable event Murtaza Rakhimov has said that opening of social objects in the Republic has long ago has become a good tradition: “By many showings, including birth rate, Bashkortostan is found on the leading positions in the country and our builders try not to stay behind the rates of population growth, erecting new kindergartens, schools, polyclinics and sport objects”.
