“Russian Azimuth-2010” will orient about five thousand people in Ufa toward active rest

The all-Russian mass orienteering competition “Russian Azimuth-2010” will take place in Ufa on Sunday, May 16.

“Russian Azimuth” is considered the most wide-scaled orienteering competition in the world, related to such popular mass sport actions as “The Ski-Track of Russia” and “The Cross of Nations”.

Thousands participants in different Russian cities will receive the maps and will leave for forests and parks, searching for the red-white prisms. This kind of sport appeared in Russia not long ago. Now it is developing very quickly, finding new adherents every year.

About five thousand people are going to start in Ufa this Sunday.
