The public organization of pedagogues is established in Bashkortostan

A new public organization – the regional division of the all-Russian organization “The all-Russian pedagogical assembly” is established in Bashkortostan. The decision concerning its establishment was reached in the course of the constituent conference, held on May 12 in the Congress-Hall, Ufa. Bashkortostan has become the 70th Russian region, where a division of this organization begins working. The organization itself is established in 2006 and it is worth mentioning that its staff includes more than 270 thousand people – pedagogues and directors of Russian schools, institutes and professional colleges, employers, representatives of public organizations and authority.

Welcoming the participants of the forum the State Advisor under the President RB Sergey Lavrentiev called the establishment of the Republican division very actual and important step.

“Many active teachers work in Bashkortostan” – he said – “So I hope in the nearest future the regional division will start its activity, becoming one of the most authoritative public organizations in our Republic”.

The head of the central executive committee of the all-Russian public organization “The all-Russian pedagogical assembly” Michael Ivanov mentioned that development of state-public forms of education management, the rise of its quality and availability, development of the modern system of the continuous professional education taking the growing demands of the developing Russian economics and business into account and the rise of the teacher’s social status were among the key priorities of his organization.

“Within the frames of the initiative “Our New School”, announced by the President of Russia, the establishment of new institutes and development of the public society institute in sphere of education acquires the paramount importance” – he said – “Realization of any initiative in state bodies, realization of any initiative for perfection and modernization of the Russian education system is impossible without participation of the institute of public society in it, since this is the basic component for the dialogue between the authority and the pedagogical community”.

Talking about the system of education in Republic of Bashkortostan, Michael Ivanov underscored it was one of the most progressive in Russian Federation.

“It is quite clear the establishment of the regional division will first of all contribute to spreading and popularization of the experience of the Republican education in the country in a whole”.

The deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev expressed hope that this public organization would contribute to the dialogue between pedagogues and the authority.

“When uniting into one public organization the pedagogues receive the chance to advocate the interests of their pedagogical community at different levels” – he said.

The deputy of the State Council-Kurultay-RB, the rector of the Institute of education development (BIRO) Rustam Ishmukhametov is elected the chairman of the regional division.

“Establishment of the regional division of the all-Russian public organization “The all-Russian pedagogical assembly” is especially important in the Teacher Year in Russia and the Republic Year in Bashkortostan” – Rustam Ishmukhametov underscored – “because we plan this organization will contribute its share to the process of the education system modernization with the purpose to raise the quality of educational services. We intend to establish close relations with the executive and legislative power bodies and with the all sides of the educational process – parents, social partners of our educational institutions, pupils, students, higher and secondary education institutions. I do hope our organization will have its own legislative initiative at the regional level and will be able to make the proposals for the public expertise of federal bills”.
