Historical-local lore museum is opened in Mechetlinsky region RB after reconstruction

Solemn opening of the regional historical-local lore museum has taken place within the frames of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 80th anniversary of Mechetlinsky region of Bashkortostan in the village BOLSHEUSTIKINSKOE – the administrative center of the region. The museum in Mechetlinsky region was opened still in 1967. Today it has received the second birth thanks to financial support of the regional administration, local enterprises ad organizations.

“Our land is rich with its history and this museum is one of the most efficient mechanisms for education of patriotism and love in our land” – the deputy head of the regional administration Amirian Salimov said at the solemn ceremony – “Opening this museum we intended by the example of the achievements of our compatriots to disclose the potential of our land and urge our people to preserve and replenish its real treasures. It looks symbolically that we are opening this museum on the eve of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 80th anniversary of Mechetlinsky region because respectful attitude to the past and preservation of our historical heritage is the state aim of paramount importance. We do hope the museum won’t stay empty”.
