The indices of Ufa social-economic development are the evidence of stable functioning of all branches of the city economy and social sphere. In January-March 2010 the index of industrial production made 105,3% and the growth made up 10% as compared with the same period of time in 2009. The volume of the shipped off output by Ufa large and medium enterprises has grown up by 45,7% as compared with the corresponding period in 2009, making up more than 89 billion rubles in real prices.
This is the information of the deputy head of Ufa administration Albina Usupova, introduced by her at today’s news-conference, devoted to the work results of the first quarter 2010.
As she reported, the growth of industrial production was observed in practically all branches of economics. Only in two branches the index of industrial production was lower than 100%: in production of foods (97,7%) and oil products (95,8%).
On April 1 the number of officially registered unemployed people in Ufa has reduced by 6,6%, making up 12557 people. The level of unemployment has reduced by 0,26 %, making 2,33%. The number of free job vacancies at present time makes up 73689.
Positive dynamics is observed in demography too. For the last two months 2135 kids have been born in Ufa – by 80 babies more than in 2009. The natality makes up 137 people. Death rate has reduced by 1,9% and the migration inflow of population made up 86 migrants.
