Actual questions of preparation for the III World Bashkir Kurultay (Congress) were discussed today by the Republican steering committee, responsible for holding of this international forum. The meeting was headed by the chairman of the committee, the Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev.
Less than one month and a half are left till the beginning of the III World Bashkir Kurultay, appointed on June 11-12 in Ufa. In accordance with the quotes, determined by the steering committee, 771 delegates will be elected to the forum: 558 – fr om the municipal and city districts RB and 213 – from those Russian regions, wh ere Bashkir communities are present and from foreign countries. The steering committee has approved the proposal of the World Bashkir Kurultay executive committee concerning inclusion of people of Bashkir nationality into the staff of the delegates of the forthcoming forum and people of non-Bashkir nationality will be included into the list of invitees. The steering committee has discussed various aspects of the exhibition and cultural program, dated to the forum. Delegates and guests may take part in the wide cultural program in the capital of Bashkortostan and in the Republican folklore festival in Ishimbaysky region RB in the motherland of Achmet-Zaki Validi.
The steering committee has also approved the proposal of the World Bashkir Kurultay executive committee concerning holding of the Euro Union Bashkir Kurultay on May 15, 2010, in Berlin. The members of the gathering will discuss the question concerning foundation of the Bashkir Kurultay in foreign countries. It is planned 50 delegates, already elected by the corresponding conferences in their own countries will take part in the Berlin’s forum.
Within the frames of the III World Bashkir Kurultay the first Youth Bashkir Kurultay will be held in Ufa Congress-Hall. This youth forum will discuss the problems of Bashkir nation’s development in the XXI century and the role of Bashkir youth in preservation of the national originality.
