Halal market widens frontiers

author: Eugene Rakhimkulov

The market of Halal industry widens its frontiers in our Republic. Thus, opening of the first in Bashkortostan Halal-hairdresser’s, working in accordance with the Islamic canons, has taken place in Ufa. Besides, the salon has special praying hall.

As the head of the Halal standard committee under the Clerical Muslim Dept RB Timur Shangareev reported to “Bashinform”, the decision concerning opening of such hairdresser’s was reached because of numerous requests of the believers. At that the doors of the hairdresser’s are open wide both for Muslims and ordinary citizens.

Opening of this hairdresser’s is one more example that Halal industry is becoming more and more popular in Russia. The Halal standard committee was found in June 2009 especially for development and regulation of the Halal market in Bashkortostan. Thanks to the committee’s activity the Halal industry is rapidly developing in the Republic. Several local enterprises mastered production of Halal foods, cosmetics, clothes and other goods, manufactured in accordance with the canons of Islam. The first Halal polyclinic and the Halal first undertaker’s office were opened in Bashkortostan not long ago. The first Republican exhibition of Halal goods has taken place in the town of Durtuli on March this year and participants from Bashkortostan and many other Russian regions came to take part in its work. In the future the Halal industry should receive even higher development in our Republic.
