The RB Ministry for Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism has announced the accepting of documents that will be nominated for the State Republic's Youth Prize in Science and Technology for 2009.
The Prize was established by the order of the Cabinet in 2002 for development of the republic's scientific potential and motivation of the most talented young scientists.
According to the RB Ministry for Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, 14 young scientists and 7 teams have become prizewinners over this period of time.
Three prizes are given annually in the fields of natural sciences, engineering sciences and humanities.
Scholars, lectures, post-graduate students, doctoral candidates and specialists in national economy both individually and in teams (of no more than five people) may take part in the contest. The competitors should be not older than 35.
The results of scientific studies nominated for the state prizes with the exception of the information classified as state secret must be published in the press.
The projects are accepted until July 1.
