Cluster policy is stably developed in Bashkortostan

Business

The delegation from Germany, arriving in Bashkortostan for participation in the meeting re realization of the cluster policy in the Republic, attended the Ufa’s forestry college. The visit was held within the frames of the forthcoming exhibition “The Salon of Innovations”, which is to start working in Ufa on April 7.

Development of the clusters is found under close attention in our Republic and the usage of cluster technologies is considered rather promising direction, including the woodworking sphere. The Ufa’s forestry college is called to play an important role here, educating the future professionals for this branch.

The delegation from Germany became acquainted with the educational and technical basis of the college. As the senior expert of the German Institute of economical investigations in Berlin Kurt Hornshield said, the educational institution in Ufa is the suitable place for training of the future specialists.

“We have the agreement concerning the project on modernization of the industrial policy RB between Germany and Bashkortostan” – Kurt Hornshield said – “We regularly exchange our opinions concerning development of the clusters. It is important to have in view now that today timber can be used in such spheres, which nobody could guess 20 years ago, for example, in the tourist industry, in production of furniture etc. But for that you should develop your infrastructure, find investments and involve well-trained specialists and the Ufa’s forestry college solves this problem quite successfully – its popularity among school-leavers and successful job placement of its graduates proves that”.
