Successful development of the regions and innovational economics demand one mandatory requirement – the presence of highly-qualified specialists. The Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev suggested that the variant on restructuring of the network of professional education institutions should be considered and discussed the prospects of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University as a national research institute at the meeting with Russian Minister of education and science Andre Fursenko.
“We consider the cluster variant on restructuring of the network of professional education institutions the most optimal – such project allows us to preserve the scientific-educational and manpower reserve in Bashkortostan” – the Prime-Minister said.
On the base of the large institutes – the Ufa State Oil Technical University, the Bashkir State University, the Bashkir State Agrarian University and the Bashkir State Medical University there is a chance to create the multi-level university centers. As the Prime-Minister believes, the educational clusters, combining the professional education institutions of different levels, will allows successfully solving the whole complex of various aims.
“First, this step optimizes the structure of education. Second, it raises the education quality and, third, a new generation will receive professional education of different levels within the frames of one center. Besides, this is the real possibility to support the innovational development both of different branches of economy and the social sphere of the region.
One more idea, ventilated at the meeting is to establish the pedagogical education center on the base of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University by Miftahetdin Akmullah.
One more important theme, raised at the meeting, was the prospects of Ufa State Aviation Technical University’s development – this is the only institute of machine-building profile in the region and it holds leading positions in Russia in the sphere of science-intensive and super-computer technologies. The available scientific-production and material-technical bases allows the University to cope with the wide range of aims in the innovational sphere and in opinion of Rail Sarbaev this is the enough ground for giving the University the status of a “national research institute”.
