About one thousand heads of foreign meat cattle to be delivered for Bashkortostan this year
The pedigree farmings in Bashkortostan receive substantial state support and special attention is recently paid to meat cattle-breeding. The Ministry of agriculture RB reports about one thousand heads of meat cattle is planned to deliver for our Republic this year.
In a whole the farmings of Bashkortostan have acquired 1569 heads of pedigree meat cattle in 2009. Duvansky, Zianchurinsky, Kugartchinsky, Kyurgazinsky, Meleuzovsky and other six regions of Bashkortostan have received the pedigree cattle. The first deputy Minister of agriculture RB Nikolai Kovalenko reports the final goal of all these purchases is to organize the pedigree farms on selection of Hereford meat cattle of Australian origin in the Republic by 2011.
