Opening of the exhibition “The mosques of Islam” has taken place at the Clerical Muslim Dept RB on March 4. The author of the works, where the mosques from different towns of Iran are demonstrated, is the official representative of Iran’s Cultural Representative Office in Moscow, the pedagogue of the madrasah by Miriam Sultanova Sirrus Borzu.
Well-known photographers, representatives of the Republican Muslim clergy, the Charitable Fund by Kinza Arslanov, pedagogues and students of Ufa institutes and ordinary lovers of photo-art came to become acquainted with his works.
This exposition is already the fourth and holding of such exhibitions has already become a good tradition at the Clerical Muslim Dept RB.
As the author of the works Sirrus Borzu says, he doesn’t consider himself a professional photographer”
“When preparing this exhibition I just wanted the citizens of your Republic would learn the culture of my country better” – he said – “and if the snapshots, made by me, look successful, it is concerned only with the quality of the original material. All these mosques are so beautiful that one can’t but shoot them poorly”.
