Solemn opening of the hypermarket “Okay” has taken place in Octyabrsky district of Ufa today. This is the 46th trade center (the 19th hypermarket) in the capital RB. Its total area makes 13 thousand square meters and the trade hall occupies 8 thousand. The investment cost of the object is 800 million rubles.
The Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev, the chairman of the state business undertakings and trade committee RB Rinat Zainullin, the head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev and other officials have taken part in the opening ceremony.
As it was said at the ceremony, in spite of the crisis Republic puts new trade objects into exploitation, opening new workplaces and developing local business. 450 citizens of Ufa will work at the new hypermarket.
“Today we are opening a new trade center of the European level” – Paul Kachkaev said – “We are happy Ufa is becoming the center of civilized trade. In 2009 we’ve opened 140 stationary trade objects and it means more than three thousand citizens of Ufa managed to find new jobs. 34 objects are erected in 2010. At present time Ufa holds one of the first places by the number of trade objects in Russia”.
The company “Okay” is founded and registered in Saint-Petersburg in July 2001. At present time the holding consists of 45 trade centers, including 18 hypermarkets – in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Murmansk and Togliatti. Now the company has opened the hypermarket in Ufa and in 2010 it intends to open other six trade centers with the total area 145 thousand square meters.
