UNESCO festival of national cultures has taken place in Meleuz

The UNESCO festival of national cultures, devoted to the International Year of cultural dialogue, declared by UNESCO, has taken place in the town of Meleuz.  This remarkable event has also been dated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Teacher Year in Russia and the Republic Year in Bashkortostan. The event was organized by Ministry of education RB, UNESCO Affairs Committee RB, administration of Meleuzovsky region RB and by the office of the Moscow State University of technologies and management in the town of Meleuz.

Within the frames of the first day of the festival the show program “The parade of national cultures with participation of masters of culture and arts of the region was offered to the participants and the guests of the festival – the representatives of the UNESCO Affairs Committee RB Venera Farganova, Ludmila Boguslavskaya and Talgat Zainullin, the representative of DAAD (the German service of academic exchanges) Marie Veltzer, the director of the Bashkir Institute of social technologies Tanzilya Nigmatullina, directors of schools and lyceums and students of higher and secondary educational institutions fr om Ufa, Sterlitamac, Ishimbay and other towns RB. On the second day the festival went on working at the Ufa office of the Moscow University of technologies and management, wh ere the UNESCO club was solemnly opened. Presentations of scientific works of young scientists to the topics “The monuments of spiritual culture”, “Youth leaders” and “History and up-to-dateness” have taken place the same day.

Summing up the totals of the two-day work of the UNESCO festival its participants have marked that opening of UNESCO club at the Moscow University (in Ufa) gives a chance to launch new international projects in sphere of education, science and culture. In the nearest future the UNESCO chair will be opened at the Ufa’s division of the Moscow University of technologies and management.
