5,4 million decaliters of alcohol have been sold out in Bashkortostan in 2009 for the sum of more than 13 billion rubles, the department RB for consumer right protection and control over circulation and quality of alcoholic production reports. As the deputy head of the department Kamil Galiev reported, the overall volume of sold vodka made 3,5 million decaliters for the sum of 8,7 billion rubles. 90% of vodka is produced in Bashkortostan. The share of Russian vodka makes 9% of sales and foreign vodka – 1%.
It is good that the consumption of alcohol in our Republic in 2009 has reduced by 5% and consumption of vodka – by 7,7%, as compared with 2008. The use of soft drinks fell by 35,5%. At the same times specialists mark the growth of cognac sales by 10%. In a whole 72 thousand decaliters of this rather expensive drink have been sold out. The growth of sales of vine and champagne has grown up by 9%.
