Ufa finished last year with rather good indices

Rather difficult economic conditions failed to prevent Ufa to hold leading positions among Russian big cities again, the head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev stated on Thursday. The index of industrial production by the totals-2009 made 97,6% and the sum of the rendered services made 233 billion rubles.

“By these showings Ufa is the best among the cities with one millionth population” – Paul Kachkaev reported.

The Ufa’s trade turnover made 280 billion rubles – 60% in the overall Republican trade circulation. By this index Ufa stands on the second place among Russian big cities. The volume of chargeable services made 86,6 billion rubles or 102,8%. The average salary has grown up by 5,1% and reached 19878 rubles and by this showing Ufa stands on the third place after Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.

In 2010 the volumes of output and sales of gods have to grow up by 0,3% and the trade turnover will stay at the level of 2009 as it is expected.

Ufa finished 2009 without lowering of the investment level. By the attraction of investments Ufa stands on the 3rd-4th places among Russian cities with the population one million people.

“Investments in 2010 will be directed to construction of various objects and to industrial production” – Paul Kachkaev said.

564 thousand square meters of dwelling have been put into exploitation in 2009, i.e. 80% to the level of the previous year. In 2010 this index will be increased by 10% and developers will put 620 thousand square meters of housing into exploitation.
