Vladimir Putin has taken part in putting the first production line — the line for steel cutting – at the Ufa transformer plant. At the end of 2010 – the beginning of 2011 the plant will reach full production capacity. It should be reminded that the Chairman of Government RF arrived in Ufa to hold the meeting of the Governmental regional development commission. After the end of the meeting he went to the plant for production of power and feeder transformers.
The power-engineering machine-building complex, having no analogues in Russia, is made in Bashkortostan. The plant is erected by the largest power-engineering Russian holding JSC “ELECTROZAVOD”(Moscow). The General Director of “ELECTROZAVOD” Leonid Makarevitch has acquainted Vladimir Putin with the new production. As he said, per se the Ufa transformer plant has no match either in Russia or in Europe. For the last 30 years no similar power-engineering enterprises were erected in Russia. This project is really unique. Construction of the plant started in 2006 and already at the end of 2009 the plant has received the permit for putting the industrial object into operation.
The Ufa transformer plant is supplied with the newest equipment, made by the leading world companies and here the most progressive ecologically safe technologies are used and at that many of these technologies aren’t used anywhere else in Russia.
The newest computer system allows the plant’s specialists to manage the production completely – beginning from technical documentation and finishing with shipments and technical maintenance of the ready-made products. The new computer complex is based on the newest fundamental and applied designs of the research institutes RB and other Russian regions. In 2010 the plant will start producing the wide range of power transformers with the voltage up to 220KW and the capacity up to 200 megavolt-amperes. The investments of JSC “ELECTROZAVOD” to construction of the new production in Ufa exceeded five billion rubles, including more than 340 million rubles, meant for development of social infrastructure. The new plant will open more than two thousand workplaces. At present time 200 people work here and the average salary makes 21,4 thousand rubles. The plant will become the largest transformer production in Russia with the summary capacity about 27 million kilowatt-amperes annually. After reaching the designed capacity the expected production volume will exceed eight billion rubles per year.
JSC “ELECTROZAVOD” is the world producer of various transformer, reactor and commutation equipment. The staff of the company consists of four electrotechnological plants, its own design and research institutes and the engineering and service centers with the bases in Moscow, Zaporozhye and Ufa. Construction of the transformer plan is one of the largest investment projects, realized on the territory RB.
