The flats of those Ufa’s veterans of war, who really need it, will be thoroughly repaired before the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev reported today.
“At present time there are about 100 such flats in the city” – he said – “First we’ll repair the flats of those 59 veterans, whom there are nobody to take care of now and after that we will repair the rest of the flats”.
At present time 3053 veterans of war live in Ufa and the youngest veteran is more than 80 years old. Unfortunately, the number of these people gradually comes down. Thus, about 200 veterans have died in Ufa just in 2009.
