Ufa scientist Semyon Gutin became a member of the European and Global Engineering Education (EUGENY) Academic Network having representatives of science from 77 countries as members. European colleagues saw the true value of his technological innovations in e-learning.
The EUGENE project is approved and financed by the European Committee for 2009-2012, and members of the Academic Network are key researches and specialists from all over the world. The only practicing scientist representing Russia in this organization became the associate professor Semyon Gutin. At the end of the last year, he took part in the starting meeting that opened a new project and took place in the University of Florence, Italy.
According to the scientist himself, he got acquainted with colleagues from Florence at one of the international seminars in 2008.
On February 11, Semyon Gutin will take part in the first session of the working group of the Academic Network in Brussels. Its participants will pay special attention to the development of transnational mobility of students, graduates and specialists of technical universities. For example, the subjects of discussion will be "European engineering standards and qualifying structures", "International engineering standards" and "Mutual recognition of diplomas in engineering".
